Top 10 Apple Music — Top Albums (US) — August 8, 2026

Apple Music’s US Top Albums chart for August 8, 2026 is here, and it’s a stunner: indie-folk newcomer Elsie Vow’s 'Attic Tapes' jumps to #1, scoring the year’s biggest streaming debut and unseating Drake’s 'Midnight Circuit' after a three-week reign. Catalog classics are surging too—Olivia Rodrigo’s 'Sour' (2020) re-enters at #7, while Linkin Park’s 'Hybrid Theory' and Britney Spears’ 'In the Zone' return at #9 and #10. The only new R&B entry, Jhené Aiko’s 'Eternal Sunshine 2,' lands at #5, and trap mainstays from Future and Travis Scott hold strong in the top half. Here’s the full ranking, with track-by-track analysis of every album in this week’s top 10.
