Charmander

Charmander, the beloved Fire-type starter, possesses a base stat total (BST) of 309. This small, bipedal lizard Pokémon, introduced in Generation I, is known for the flame at the tip of its tail, which indicates its life force. According to its original Pokédex entry from Pokémon Red and Blue, the flame wavers when Charmander is healthy and burns more intensely when it is angry. Weighing 8.5 kg (85 hectograms) and standing 0.6 meters (6 decimeters) tall, Charmander is the lightest Pokémon on this list. While its initial BST might suggest a journey ahead for competitive viability, its strong evolutionary line, culminating in Charizard, makes it a fan favorite and a powerful force in later stages of the game.
