Agustin Pichot
Agustín Pichot, a dynamic scrum-half, famously captained Argentina to a historic third-place finish at the 2007 Rugby World Cup. This achievement marked a significant turning point for Los Pumas, solidifying their position as a major force in international rugby. Pichot earned 71 caps for Argentina, scoring 12 tries, and was instrumental in bridging the gap between the amateur and professional eras of the sport in his country. His tactical acumen and leadership were key to the team's success in 2007, demonstrating that strategic intelligence can empower a squad to exceed expectations on the world stage.
