Felipe Contepomi
Felipe Contepomi, a versatile fly-half and center, made a significant impact both internationally for Argentina and in European club rugby. During his time at Leinster (2003-2009), he scored 1,225 points in 116 appearances, becoming Leinster's record points scorer until Johnny Sexton surpassed his total in 2017. He also contributed to Leinster's two Heineken Cup victories in 2009 and the Celtic League title in 2007-08. For Los Pumas, he earned 87 caps and scored 651 points, making him Argentina's all-time leading point scorer. Contepomi was nominated for the IRB Player of the Year award in 2007 and inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame in 2017. His ability to both orchestrate play and finish tries highlights a rare combination of skills that made him a formidable opponent.
