The Pitt: Season 2 (2026)

The Pitt turns a single hospital shift into fifteen hours of television, with each episode covering one real-time hour of Dr. Robby's (Noah Wyle) day — a structure that sounds gimmicky until you're three episodes in and can't stop. Season 2 sets that same tension against a Fourth of July weekend, about the worst possible shift to pull in an ER. The first season won a haul of Emmys, including Outstanding Drama Series, plus Best Drama at the Golden Globes, and Season 2 arrived more confident for it — Wyle even wrote two episodes himself. This is appointment viewing that earned the label the hard way, consistently ranking among the most-streamed shows on television during its run.
