DIS Copenhagen and Stockholm (Scandinavia)

DIS Copenhagen and Stockholm distinguishes itself by embedding experiential fieldwork directly into every course. Students gain practical learning by visiting Danish renewable energy facilities or analyzing Swedish social welfare systems firsthand, directly complementing classroom theory. This approach provides a deeper level of cultural immersion and hands-on engagement. Established in 1959, DIS has a long history of providing field-study based programs in Scandinavia. While the program offers in-depth local experiences, students are primarily based in Copenhagen or Stockholm, limiting direct exposure to other countries beyond Scandinavia during the semester.
