Semester at Sea (Global Voyage)

Semester at Sea delivers one of the most geographically diverse study abroad experiences available, with students visiting 10–12 countries across multiple continents in a single semester while living and learning on a ship. Since its inception in 1963, over 60,000 students have participated in the program, logging an average of 35,000 nautical miles. This unique format allows for broad global exposure and engagement with diverse local communities at each port. However, the transient nature of shipboard life means that in-depth immersion in any single culture is limited by the duration of port calls.
