Pentiment

Pentiment, a unique narrative adventure from Obsidian Entertainment, immerses players in a 16th-century Bavarian murder mystery. Its distinctive illuminated manuscript art style, inspired by historical documents, features a rich visual tapestry. The game runs at a smooth 60 frames per second on the Xbox Series X, delivering a polished experience throughout its approximately 12-hour length. Pentiment's strength lies in its deep storytelling and branching dialogues, which allow players to influence the narrative significantly. However, those seeking action-oriented gameplay may find its focus on dialogue and investigation less engaging.
