Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves, with over 40 million players as of March 2024, stands as a premier socially persistent pirate adventure on Xbox. Developed by Rare, this title is continuously enhanced by free seasonal updates, ensuring fresh content for its dedicated community. Players can quickly dive into a session with friends to explore its vast open world, engage in ship-to-ship combat, and uncover hidden treasures. While its free-to-play model since 2024 makes it accessible, some players may find the progression system requires a significant time investment to unlock all cosmetic and functional items.
