Baby Shark Dance — Pinkfong

Baby Shark Dance is the reason "most-watched YouTube video" now means something absurd: over 17 billion views as of 2026, more than 8 billion ahead of Despacito, the previous record holder. Pinkfong uploaded it in 2016, and it took over the top spot in November 2020 — not through a single flash of virality but through sheer toddler replay volume, the same three minutes autoplayed by devices in living rooms worldwide for the better part of a decade. There's no artistic case to make for it. There doesn't need to be.
