La Plagne

La Plagne stands out as a premier family-friendly destination within the vast Paradiski area, offering an extensive 225 km of pistes. It is seamlessly connected to Les Arcs by the Vanoise Express cable car, a double-decker lift capable of transporting 3,000 skiers per hour, creating a combined ski area of considerable size. A unique attraction at La Plagne is the Olympic bobsled track, which was famously used during the 1992 Albertville Winter Games. This provides an extraordinary, non-skiing activity that sets it apart from many other Alpine resorts. While excellent for families and intermediate skiers, advanced thrill-seekers may find more challenging terrain in other parts of the Paradiski area.
