Mammoth Mountain

Mammoth Mountain in California offers one of the longest ski seasons in North America, often extending well into July. This extended season is supported by an average annual snowfall of over 400 inches, accumulating on a high base elevation of 7,953 feet. The resort boasts California's highest summit at 11,053 feet, providing extensive terrain across 3,500 acres. While other resorts may offer more total acreage, Mammoth's consistent snow quality and depth, thanks to its elevation and snowfall, ensure excellent conditions for a significant portion of the year. The resort features 28 lifts, including two gondolas, accessing 150 named trails and 10 parks.
