The Odyssey

Christopher Nolan shot the film entirely on IMAX 70mm cameras — the first feature ever made that way — across seven countries, burning through more than two million feet of film stock for a $250 million budget, his largest yet. Matt Damon plays Odysseus opposite Anne Hathaway's Penelope, with Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, and Lupita Nyong'o filling out the ensemble; expect a runtime north of two and a half hours when it opens July 17 in IMAX. Oppenheimer made nearly $1 billion and won seven Oscars. Nolan clearly isn't chasing a smaller follow-up.
