Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park

Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park, established in 1980, is an archipelago of 42 islands in the Gulf of Thailand, celebrated for its dramatic limestone karsts, hidden lagoons, and pristine beaches. A highlight is Ko Mae Ko, home to an emerald saltwater lake known as Thale Nai, which measures approximately 250 meters across and is encircled by towering cliffs. This geological wonder is a significant draw for the park's visitors. The park's diverse ecosystems support a variety of wildlife, both marine and terrestrial, and its sheltered bays are ideal for kayaking and exploring.
