He-Man Castle Grayskull

Skull-faced fortress playset. Boxed: $2,000. French variants: $5,000+.

He-Man Castle Grayskull, Mattel's 1982 skull-faced fortress centerpiece, commands top dollar: a complete, boxed one in excellent condition sells for $800–$2,000. Rarer first-shot prototypes and international variants (like the French “Chateau des Ombres”) exceed $5,000, outperforming the typical rare TMNT figure by 50%. Even without the box, a complete Castle Grayskull with all accessories averages $300–500, with the jawbridge alone iconic enough to hold value.
