How does the Community Canon work?

The Community Canon is built automatically from every vote cast across all Top10Grid lists. When an item receives upvotes across multiple lists, it rises in the Canon. Items are ranked by their net vote score — the sum of all upvotes minus downvotes — aggregated across every list they appear in. The higher an item ranks on individual lists and the more lists it appears in, the stronger its Canon standing.
