Bella Kay Crashes to #1 on the UK Apple Music Chart — Top 10 Songs, March 19 2026

March 19, 2026 sees UK Apple Music listeners doubling down on homegrown pop and hip-hop. Olivia Dean dominates with three slots, but the real shock is Bella Kay’s “iloveitiloveitiloveit” crashing to #1 – a raw, hyper-personal plea that came from nowhere on January 11 and now outpaces established stars. Dave & Tems’ “Raindance” proves UK rap still has cross-generational pull, while Harry Styles’ double entry (“American Girls” at #5, “Aperture” at #6) suggests his March 6 release is grabbing nostalgia-driven streams. The list leans heavily on fresh drops – eight of ten songs are from late 2025 or early 2026 – but Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” (released September 2024) stubbornly holds #10, showing lingering affection for a slow-burn pop ballad. Apple Music’s UK daily chart refreshes every 24 hours based on paid subscription plays, giving a real-time pulse on what Brits are actually replaying, not just buying once.

Trend Analysis

Music dominates – all ten entries are songs, not podcasts or live sessions. The UK’s taste skews British: six of ten artists are from the UK (Bella Kay, Olivia Dean, Sam Fender, Dave, RAYE, PinkPantheress), with Harry Styles (UK-born but now LA-resident) and Tems (Nigeria) as exceptions. The most surprising entry is RAYE’s “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” at #8 – a dramatic, theatrical track that feels anti-streaming-chart. It suggests UK listeners crave narrative and eccentricity, not just radio-friendly hooks. The list also reveals a gender imbalance: only four women lead (Bella Kay, Olivia Dean, RAYE, Zara Larsson as feature) against six male-lead tracks. Expect more guest-driven collabs to climb in the coming weeks as artists rush to pair with Dave or Harry Styles for a chart boost.
