The 10 Best Spanish-Language TV Shows to Stream on Netflix (2026)

Not everything on this list started life as a Netflix show. Money Heist, Velvet, and Gran Hotel were all originally produced for Spanish broadcast television (Antena 3) and underperformed or ran their course there before Netflix acquired them and turned them into global hits — Money Heist in particular was considered a modest domestic performer before Netflix's international audience transformed it into a phenomenon. Elite, Cable Girls, Club de Cuervos, Alta Mar, and Intimidad, by contrast, were built directly for Netflix from the start. It's a useful lens: the broadcast-rescued shows tend to have more conventional, network-TV pacing, while the Netflix-native ones lean into the streaming-era habit of ending seasons on sharper cliffhangers.

Eight of these ten shows are drama in one form or another — crime, period romance, prison, teen thriller, social drama. Only Paquita Salas and Club de Cuervos are built around comedy, and they're structurally very different from each other: Paquita Salas is a scrappy mockumentary about a washed-up talent agent, while Club de Cuervos is a family-business ensemble comedy about a football club. If you're looking for something lighter after a run of Vis a Vis or Intimidad, those two are the whole comedy section of this list.
