Safa Community School

Safa Community School opened in September 2014 and went on to win the Best New School in the UAE award, according to the school. It is an all-through British school from FS1 to Year 13, so the primary here is one part of a larger campus. KHDA's 2023-24 inspection moved it from Very Good to Outstanding and scored wellbeing and inclusion Outstanding. The report records 2,371 pupils and 207 teachers, while the school's own at-a-glance page quotes 2,645 students from 94 nationalities. The wellbeing evidence is specific. Inspectors reported that pupils and staff describe the school as being like a family, that students talk enthusiastically about the breadth of the wellbeing curriculum, and that provision for pupils of determination is exceptional. The school holds a National Mental Health and Wellbeing Accreditation from The National College. The one development point was resilience, since a few pupils struggled when unexpected events occurred. SchoolsCompared.com lists a parent rating of 86 and credits the school with the Top Schools Award for Happiest School in 2024. SchoolsCompared.com says delivery is structured by year group, each with its own resources, which keeps a big school human scale. Afternoon pick-up for 2026-27 is 2.20pm for Year 1, 2.30pm for Years 2 and 3 and 2.40pm for Years 4 to 6 from Monday to Thursday, with Friday pick-up at 11.15am for Years 1 to 3 and 11.30am for Years 4 to 6. The school offers over 300 free extra-curricular activities and a free sibling club.
