Fallout 1st
Fallout 1st is Bethesda's ongoing subscription service for Fallout 76, bundling perks like private worlds, unlimited scrap-box storage, and a monthly stipend of in-game currency. Its continued presence on a weekly revenue chart, years after Fallout 76's launch, reflects how a recurring subscription can keep a live-service game generating steady income long after the initial release window.

Fallout 1st
Fallout 1st is Bethesda's subscription service for Fallout 76. Steam's revenue chart tracks individual product listings, and a subscription product like this one can be sold through more than one listing (for example, separate monthly and annual purchase options), which is the most likely explanation for it appearing more than once in a single week's chart.

Windrose
Windrose earns its rank-5 slot without spending a single dollar on discounts — a rare accomplishment in a top 10 crowded with sale pricing. The sandbox MMORPG launched at full price this week and still outsells Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, which leans on a 25% discount to drive volume. At $29.99, Windrose generates clean, undiluted revenue per transaction, and Steam's algorithm rewards exactly that. Its persistent open world, player-driven economy, and guild-vs-guild territory systems appear to be the draw for a community prepared to pay full freight. Exact concurrent player figures haven't been released, but rank 5 without any promotional support is a strong signal that premium MMO pricing isn't dead — it just requires a product compelling enough to skip the sale.

Forza Horizon 6
Forza Horizon 6 carries the highest price tag in this top 10 at $69.99 — no discount, no bundle, just full sticker — and still plants itself at rank 6. The Horizon series has shipped over 35 million copies lifetime, and that installed base is converting immediately at launch. Driving physics rebuilt around a new South American map, cross-platform Xbox/PC progression, and a refined weather system are the headline upgrades. Revenue-per-unit here towers over every other entry: at more than 2.3 times the cost of Windrose and nearly 12 times the price of EA Play, each sale punches far above the chart average. That outsized per-transaction value explains how a full-price, no-sale racing title comfortably holds rank 6 against a field of lower-priced competitors.

Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era
Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era uses a 25% discount to land at $29.99 and earns rank 7 on the strength of a franchise that hasn't seen a mainline entry in over a decade. That pent-up demand from longtime strategy fans is the real engine here. Hexagonal tile combat, asymmetric factions, and deep hero progression systems carry forward the DNA of the classic series while updating the visuals for modern hardware. The discount strategy is deliberate: by matching Windrose's $29.99 price point through a sale rather than a permanent reduction, the publisher signals confidence in the base value while maximizing Week 18 volume. At its undiscounted price of $39.99, it would be the second most expensive title in this top 10, sitting just behind Forza Horizon 6 at $69.99.

EA Play
EA Play's $5.99 monthly fee is the lowest price point in this top 10 — and at less than one-tenth the cost of Forza Horizon 6, that accessibility is the entire pitch. The subscription opens a rotating library of over 100 titles including FIFA, Battlefield, and Apex Legends without requiring individual purchases. Rank 8 on a weekly revenue chart is significant for a $5.99 product: the volume of new subscribers needed to generate competitive revenue is substantial, meaning EA is converting at genuine scale. No discount is applied because the subscription price is already the permanent value offer. For players weighing subscription fatigue against library breadth, EA Play's cost-to-content ratio remains difficult to beat — and Steam's chart confirms the market agrees.

iRacing
iRacing is the benchmark for PC motorsport simulation, claiming rank 9 on a revenue model that generates far more per user than any single-purchase racing title. Its $9.99/month entry subscription anchors the pricing ladder, while a DLC catalog of 100+ laser-scanned circuits and 90+ licensed vehicles — priced individually at $3–$15 each — drives average annual spending per dedicated member well above $100. NASCAR, IndyCar, and Formula 1 organizations officially partner with iRacing for driver training and esports programs, a credibility stamp that justifies premium pricing and minimizes churn. Its simultaneous appearance at rank 10 on this same list confirms that iRacing's weekly Steam revenue footprint is wide enough to hold two chart positions at once — a feat no other sim racing title managed in Week 18, 2026.

iRacing
iRacing's rank 10 entry sits directly beneath its rank 9 twin, and the duplication is a revenue-accounting artifact rather than an error. Steam's chart tracks revenue by individual product listing; iRacing sells at least three distinct SKUs — a $9.99/month base subscription, a higher-tier Pro plan, and seasonal content bundles — each accumulating revenue independently on the backend. Different buyer segments, from first-time recruits to gift purchasers to plan upgraders, likely fuel each slot separately. The pattern directly echoes Fallout 1st's double-entry earlier in this chart's history, confirming that tiered subscription models consistently trigger this duplication effect in Steam's weekly rankings. Holding two simultaneous top-10 positions implies a combined weekly gross that outpaces the vast majority of standard $60 single-SKU titles on the broader chart — a remarkable result for a deliberately niche simulation.

How to Read Steam's Weekly Top Sellers Chart

This chart ranks games by gross revenue for the week, not units sold or concurrent players — a fact that explains most of its quirks. A cheap, heavily discounted game can outrank an expensive one it actually sold fewer copies of if price times volume works out higher, and subscription products can occupy multiple slots at once because Steam counts revenue by individual product listing rather than by title. Reading the list as "what people spent money on this week" rather than "what's most popular" avoids most of the confusion.

Why Subscriptions and Live-Service Games Keep Reappearing

Games like Fallout 1st and iRacing show up on this chart far more consistently than any single new release, because a subscription renews every billing cycle rather than selling once. A years-old live-service game with a loyal subscriber base can out-earn a brand-new full-price release in a given week simply through the compounding effect of recurring billing — it's a different kind of commercial success than a blockbuster launch, and the chart doesn't distinguish between the two.

Trend Analysis

The May 4–10, 2026 week defies easy categorization—there’s no single dominant genre. Racing takes two slots (Forza Horizon 6 at rank 6, iRacing at ranks 9 and 10), but that’s a tie between a premium arcade sim and a hardcore subscription racer. Strategy nostalgia hits with Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era at rank 7, while party chaos lives at rank 2 with Gamble With Your Friends. Subscriptions dominate: Fallout 1st at ranks 3 and 4, EA Play at rank 8, and iRacing’s double appearance—that’s five slots dedicated to monthly fees. The most surprising entry is Windrose at rank 5: a full-price $29.99 sandbox MMORPG with no discount, suggesting a dedicated core audience that doesn’t need sales. This list reveals a public that values low entry cost (Far Far West, Gamble With Your Friends) and recurring commitments over one-time blockbusters. Looking ahead, expect Steam to continue normalizing subscription products as chart regulars, blurring the line between games and services.
